This is a precious item made from cupra rayon velvet material, luxuriously dyed one piece at a time using a method called basket dyeing.

We used an original Discovered-like velvet that is made by twisting the fabric itself, placing it in a cylindrical basket, dripping dye into it, and then placing it in a pot at about 80 degrees to allow the dye to soak in, a process that is repeated three times to create different shades.
